Biography
Hailing from East Atlanta, Sean Thomason is a Singer-Songwriter and U.S. Army Veteran. Displaying a myriad of vocal prowess, his songs are a mix of Alt & Neo-Traditional Country, Honky Tonk, Americana, and Folk Rock. His energetic performances are resonating with audiences, and his newly written material is poised with an authenticity that takes the listener back to progressive country records of the late 1970s and early 80s. His debut record, with his newly formed band of well-known Atlanta & Athens GA players, "The Strong Wind South", is set to release in Late Summer 2022 with Atlanta Producer Damon Moon at the helm. 5 Singles have already been released on Streaming Platforms , including Apple Music and have garnished just over 40,000 streams so far. The vinyl version of the new record titled, "Original Motion Picture Soundtrack", is available now at all of Sean's Solo, and Full Band Shows. Like minded fans of this new wave of country have placed Sean's music somewhere between Sturgill Simpson, Paul Cauthen, Charley Crockett, Tyler Childers and Jason Isbell. The next slew of singles will be released starting in mid-July 2022, with the Indie-Country track "Sunflower".
